Hero Widgets — Privacy Policy

Effective: November 5, 2026

Hero Widgets is a set of home-screen widgets published by Wak Inc. This page explains what the app uses, where it is handled, and what leaves your device.

What the widgets use

The widgets display information such as the time, your calendar, and your battery level. That information is read and processed on your device so the widgets can show it; it is not collected by us.

Where it lives

Widget settings are stored on your device, in the app's own storage.

What leaves the device

If you enable the weather display, the app sends an anonymous weather query — your general location area only, nothing that identifies you — to Open-Meteo to fetch current conditions. Nothing else leaves your device, and weather can be turned off.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. The app contains no advertising trackers, and we do not track you.

Your control

You choose which widgets to place and which features to enable. Removing a widget stops its display, and uninstalling the app removes all of its stored data.
